Yes, does anybody consider using a bit of common sense? If I strictly followed every manufacturer's safety precautions, warnings or advise, we would never go campin' again. Or anything else, for that matter. I guess we could just blindly follow what our leaders tell us to.
I do follow some warning labels. For instance I don't wear my clothes while ironing them, I try to limit my dogs alcohol intake when on certain medications, and I haven't found the need to swallow a coat hangar or the warning label attached to it.
In addition I try not to hold the wrong end of my chainsaw, dry my pets in the microwave, or use a curling iron on my eye lashes.
