Do you carry a spare tire?

Absolutely. What else would you do if you had a flat? All your road service companies say they will change a bad tire with *your* inflated spare. Your only other option is to have them either go back to town on your nickel, buy a tire and bring it to you, or tow you into town. Then you can only hope the tire shop has a tire that matches what you already have, or be prepared to wait while they order one.

Can't imagine driving without a spare unless, perhaps, all the tires are the new run- flat type.

Ours comes with one from the factory, but if it didn't I would find a way to carry one.

Yepir. Plus a Ryobi 18 volt impact wrench, appropriate impact socket, torque wrench and one Jack Stand. Has come in handy a few times both for ours and those travelling with us. Takes Angela about 45 minutes tops to swap out an inside dually. She needs to work on that time a bit. She's quicker on a trailer tire though. It's all practice. :)

Yes I carry a spare. I had to use it in 2001, and had two other blowouts as well. SO three times in about 45,000 miles of camping over the 18 years that I have had my RV.

The real question is "How Lucky as I?"
If your tires are relatively new and a commonly available size (call several tires stores to find out), then traveling without a spare in inhabited parts of the country is just fine.

In our case, it would not be a good idea. The current tires are an old and difficult to locate size and we tend to go places where road service could take days to reach us. So, I carry a jack and a spare.

Always! You never know when you will need one.
If you have a flat and road service they will change it out for you.

No spare you are at the mercy of the Road Service provider,They will provide one most times but the CO$T in most cases is very steep.

I am lucky mine came with one mounted in the VERY LARGE cargo compartment.

I am a new RVer. I have a new RV with new tires and went on my first long trip carrying a spare that I bought myself and that matches my other tires. I also have a Tire Minder pressure/temp monitor. On this one 3000 mile trip I picked up a self tapping screw in a rear tire (at a KOA) which my monitor warned me about after I had lost 10 psi. I was able to drive and have it repaired with out issue. I then found a gouge out of the sidewall down to the belt on another rear tire and had it replaced with the spare, again without issue. Because it was a good quality spare I will just leave it in place and replace the spare.
I will never travel without a good spare.

Came with the RV, a make belive tool as a tire iron, no jack so purchased one and have used the spare when the right outer blew the side wall.

We always carry a good spare. Replaced the old one this year since it had date expired. 200 miles later had a blowout and used it. Glad I replaced the spare. I also carry everything to change one for both the RV and trailer (also has a spare).

How willing are you to be stuck somewhere for a day or two because you do not carry a spare.
Like a Saturday evening in a remote area where a tire dealer is not nearby. Even if there is a dealer he may not carry the brand you want or have a tire at a price you want to pay. The absolute worst time to negotiate a tire purchase is when you are stuck on the road somewhere. You will be willing to pay almost anything for a tire just to get going. BTW the second worst time has to be at the RV dealer.
If your have a road service provider the tire does not necessarily need to be mounted
If you tell the road service provider you need a tire mounted and installed they should be able to send the appropriate people (you pay for the mounting) you may wait longer in a remote area but the appropriate help can be dispatched. For peace of mind also carry a bag of balancing beads/powder with you in case the serviceman does not have one or quotes an outrageous price for the bag.
