- BordercollieExplorerWe bought a large free-standing Coleman Screen Room years ago but never had to use it. Bulky and heavy, takes a lot of room in cargo area, lots of rods, stakes, and ropes, takes some 10 minutes to set up. Still, it's ready if we are ever plagued by mosquitos and trash bees.
Those large add-a-room enclosures are a real pain to set up, take down, pack up and store in cargo compartment. Nice for extended stays or for use by camp host, etc. - Matt_ColieExplorer IIWe carry a small screen room to set up if we are going to be in the same place long enough to appreciate it. It is simple to set up and small to carry.
Matt - evanremExplorer IIWe carry a clam that sets up in about 2 minutes and breaks down in the same we have used it once in three years when it was raining with a group. Most of our trips are shorter, if staying a while maybe we would get more use out of it.
- HalmfamilyExplorerWe set up our 12x12 canopy at the lake right by the water. The door faces away from the water so in order to enjoy the view qhile outside we must use the canopy.
- Ski_Pro_3Explorerscreen tent to keep the meat bees at bay. In addition to the awning.
- stickdogExplorerWe do when we're stationary for a while and the weather is pleasant.
- ScottGNomadNope, we use a Thermacell to ward off bugs if they're and issue.
