Do you use Invsi-Brake??

Yes, we have the Invisibrake on our Ford Focus.

The parking lights circuit charges the toad battery-- but only about 2 amps.

If in a lot of stop and go traffic, this will not keep up with power consumption and you might want to run a separate charge line.

I have invsi-brake in my jeep. Last summer did 7800 miles and never a problem with battery.

I use it and it charges the toad battery. You just have to drive with the clearance lights on you coach to charge your toad. If you are going to install one I would go over to Roadmaster in Vancouver, WA and have the pros that make it install it. I have one on the Jeep, works fine. I had it and the tow brackets installed at the Roadmaster factory

Why not plug a heavy duty (one better than trickle charge) solar maintainer in the toad. Throw it up on dash, plug into cigarette lighter. Even in traffic should keep toad battery up to snuf. Cost would be bout $100.

Had the charge line on our 2013 CRV. Still pulled battery down on toad. Problem was the navigation system. Pulled number 19 fuse to pull and not another problem. The charge line only provides replacement power for the operation of the Invisibrake. Had Fusemaster installed yesterday.

Hmmmm, folks I'm talking to are putting a wire from the coach battery to the car battery (fused connection). When you are driving the coach it charges the coach batteries and the car battery.
It is Not the go through the taillight and drive with your lights on type.

I do have a Nav system but it is a third party that was installed from previous vehicle and not the Honda option. Don't know why the Nav system would pull on the battery when turned off.

Anyway having things installed Wed and hopefully all will go well.
