Here's our progression:
1. Tent, small but gradually larger.
2. Tent trailer. Easy to tow, hate it when it rained or someone stayed up all night talking next door.
3. 19' Flair Class C. Fun coach but too small.
4. 27' Winnebago. Easy to drive, easy to park. Had bunk beds. Hated those.
5. 40' Gulfstream Tourmaster. Tons of room and excellent bathroom. Questionable quality.
6. 40' Monaco Dynasty. Excellent quality. Slightly underpowered @ 300HP. Roomy coach with no slides.
7. 45' Monaco Executive. What can I say? Quality is superb. Has all the comforts of home and four slides.
With all that said, if we were not going full time, we probably would have kept the Dynasty. Living in a coach full time, you'll enjoy the extra room to roam or simply have some "private" space.
My opinion is that it will depend on what your going to be using the coach for. We enjoyed the tents, (much younger, if I slept on the ground today, it would take more than coffee to get this body moving) just as much as we do the 45' today.
If you're going to use the coach for "camping", a mid range 36-40', newer coach would be my choice, depending on family size. If you intend to go RVing, a 40-45', tag axle, quality built coach would be my recommendation.....Dennis
