Well, we bought our last MH first. Looked at several before going into a Itasca 35U. With the 2nd large bedroom slide, the DW was sold. The size is small enough to camp and drive most anywhere and large enough for us to spend up to 2 months at a time in it (I suppose we could full time in it, but no desire to full time).
I would never want a 40' plus MH.
Today's 32-36 MH's, with multiple and/or full wall slides, are the way to go for most people.
