One is even if you think you know until you live in one for awhile you won't know how big is big enough, and it will always be a trade off just like with a S&B.
We decided the 36' gasser is kind of small after spending 5 weeks in Portland a year and a half ago for the birth of our first GK. 4 weeks of rain and rained sometime during every day of the other week. 36 and 2 slides are fine when we live outside most of the time, but stuck in side on dark rainy days it was getting very small!
One other reason for a move up is at least a 3rd slide, amazing the extra room with opposing slides in the front and the higher carrying capacity. Be careful on this last one. We were looking at a 40' coach last spring that when I found the weight rating placard found out I would only gain 500-700 lbs of carrying capacity while increasing the GVWR by 12K. Now this rig did not have a tag but still not enough to spend the big dollars for a couple of feet and small weight capacity increase.
