Does sulphuric battery acid smell like either? I"m worried

It’s a nit, I suppose, but “either” is odorless. “Ether” however, has a sweet but pungent smell, but it does not smell anything like sulfuric acid or anything that ought to come from a lead acid battery. It should be noted that sulfuric acid can liberate ether smell from certain organic compounds under the wrong circumstances.
