dolly vs flat
Question, what is the preferred way to tow a car, dolly or flat? which is easier to hook up and tow. Advantages & disadvantages of both. thanks

I find myself in the position of having to choose a towing method right now. The Demco folding dolly with surge brakes is $2500 from dealers. I see no cost savings there. My front wheel drive Lexus has 130,000 miles on it and I want a new car anyway to tow behind my motor home. Since I am going to sell the house and become a full timer with only one other auto besides the MH, I might as well buy something that I can tow flat four and hook up a braking system in thee new toad.
