Dometic Door Awning

The Dometic Weather Pro Power Awning over the door of my Discovery 40X was stolen from the previous owner. They at least left the plug. The Weather Pro Control System-Control Box is installed and operates the big awning and there are wires and plugs for the door.

If I'm doing it right, the little awning costs about $1K at CW if I don't need the control box, which I don't. The big awning is close to the same price!

Am I missing something? Thanks in advance.

    There is little difference because most the cost is in the motor and arm assembly.
    The roller tube and fabric, not so much. There is also the fact that other brands aren't interchangable so you are stuck paying the price.
