AZPops, for those of us that are electrically challenged, did the light fixture have to be ON to cause the problem?
MM.
Well I'm one of the challenged ones myself. But this is what happened. May be Doug can chime in on this post?
Mark I'm not sure if the light fixture had to be on or off for this glitch in the frig to happen. The reason is, I noticed the problem / glitch while both overhead lighting fixtures were on. However, the last fl bulb burnt out in this lighted area of the coach, so I turned the overhead lighting off and the frig was still switching it's self to AC and Lp. Shortly after this happened is when I turned the frig off.
By sure luck, since the last fl bulb went south. Something I was waiting for to happen due to American Coach installing an odd ball bulb size (had to special order the dang bulbs).
While changing out the fixtures to a smaller fixture ...

I started to install one on this side (the empty space is the fixture that didn't work) ...

As mentioned earlier, I couldn't get the new fixture to work so I tapped up the wires.
Read Doug's post about the connection between the fl lighting an the frig. Figured I'd give it a shot, turned the frig on, and so far, the light is on AC.
Luckily this glitch didn't effect the cooling of the frig and freezer.
