I tried for elite membership but was turned down again. Not enough recommendations, subpar experience level, bad attitude, questionable political beliefs etc.

Back in the day being a member of Good Sam really meant something. Not only did GS have a great nation wide camping organization but great values at Camping World. It used to be go into a Camping World and you would find two prices, one for normal folks and one for GS members. That has all changed for one reason or another.
I am a life member of the Good Sam Club and the Elite part and have been for more years than I care to remember. Are there any advantages any more I really do not think so as far as shopping at CW. Now you can get 10% off GS RV parks by being a member so I guess thats a perk. Like anything else these days unless you use it its not worth the money.

IMO for some GS membership is a good deal. For others…

Purchasing anything from Good Sam or Camping world will likely be chalked up as one of life’s mistakes, either directly, or down the road….
