There are several benefits in the Elite vs. standard membership, but as was mentioned, you must purchase an RV from Camping World to do so. And the individual at the counter was incorrect, and you were right. You can NOT extend the Elite membership at this time.

If you WOULD like an Elite membership, you could always come to Boise and get a new RV :)

So there is no added benefit of an elite membership over a regular membership (except mayube time) or a life membership?

I was at a CW a few weeks ago and when I checked out I was given the opportunity to extend my Elite Membership by another year and get free camping to boot. I told the clerk I did not think Elite Memberships can be extended at this time and she insisted it could. I still declined as I did not want to be throwing away my money just to find I was correct and the clerk was just over zealous.

Hello All,

Elite membership is a new Good Sam Club membership level given to Folks who buy an RV from Camping World. It is a 3 year benefit level that is not renewable at this time. Tenbear is correct in the current issue of Highways Elite membership is spoken about.
