dometic error codes
have a dometic 1402 , getting error code 11 which reflects problem with heating element in freezer,,, so replaced the element , checked all fuses and all connections.. The unit works fine, i.e freezer...

1. The most common code is ER13. I have replaced at least 2 dozen drain defroster foil tapes and EVERY TIME, once the bad part is replaced the code goes away. No reset ever needed
2. Did you replace the 120 element at the back side rear? If so, That is NOT the defective part that Error code 11 refers too.
3. If you replaced the correct freezer defrosting element and the code did not go away, either the new part is defective or you did not install it correctly.
4. Is this the P/N you used? 3850675012 A Heating Element, Cooling Flange, Frzr.
5. DOUBLECHECK fuse F4 (7.5 amp) Doug
