Don't know if this applies to you but the plastic door lock on an entry door are unreliable and will lock you out, and if it comes apart inside the door, and you are in the coach, it will lock you in the coach. Then you get to take the door apart from the inside, with the tools available to you, and fix the door in order to get out. Been there, done that.
Anyway, one "ace in the hole" is to not latch the window by the driver's seat, or another window. That way if locked in or out, you can open the window and get in or out of the coach in an emergency.
I know that gives up some security, but it covers you if you lock your keys in the coach or if the door lock goes kaput.
Extra set of keys in gen set bay or hidden somewhere on coach has also been done.
Not saying I do this or that you should, just food for thought.
