I use olive oil in toilet bowl over winter storage cause it doesn't evaporate and keeps toilet bowl seal flexible
Never heard of using it on door/window seals........it doesn't dry and would attach dirt etc.
I use 'baby powder' (talcum) in a sock to dust my slide out seals.
Never worried about door/window seals. Might dust them with my sock 'powder'
