We've done the DP and the Fifth wheel thing. I don't think you can get a Class A that even comes close to what the 5th wheels offer with the different floor plans.
If you do go the Newmar route you can convert some of the rear baths into a bedroom for the kids. We were never a fan of just throwing bunks just off the living room. Such a half baked solution due to having no other area to use.
