DP vs Gas on Pulling

I asked this because I just attended the Kansas City RV show over the weekend and this was what I was told. They also said if you get a gasser much over 34’ it really struggles when towing a toad.

Most likely the Diesel will out pull it, with it's tremendous low end torque and cranking away at less than 3000rpm's. Even if it doesn't, one must consider how much more it probably weighs and the fact that the engine isn't screaming bloody murder.
Still, a diesel isn't for everyone and their specific needs along with how many miles they might be driving per year to justify owning one.
