No photo goes un-criticized on this forum, primarily why I rarely post them any more....so many uninformed critics. The photo of the wheel on the hitch is mounted/welded to the rear frame of the coach. On Monaco's, the rear hitch is the frame and engine mount. 10 years of towing a 5K boat and 6K truck and the hitch/frame didn't crack....should have known the hitch police would show up.
There's a dual hitch there also, another hitch/weld police topic. On second thought, maybe it's better to drag the hitch instead.....that certainly won't cause any cracks or hitch failure!!!
IF I wanted to criticize YOUR picture, I would have referenced it and quoted it, just like I am doing now.
I was speaking in generalities about a wheel attached to a hitch. Not too many
GAS coaches, like the OP's, have the rear hitch as part of the motor mount since most gas coaches, like the OP's, have the motor in the front. I stand by my comment about how a bolted on hitch, with a 500 pound tongue weight, on the back of the OP's coach, may be damaged by a roller welded on to that type of hitch.
