Driver side window replacement

I have a 1996 Georgie Boy Cruisemaster and I need a window for the drivers side.
It has three separate glass, one on top, one solid in the front and one slider in the rear portion. I broke the front glass when I was in New England and had it replaced with fiberglass as a temporary fix!
The glass company I talked to said you have to replace the whole frame and all three windows, at a cost of $1200.00!
Does anyone know of a salvage yard that might have a used window?
Any help would be appreciated!

  • They sound like they are the same as the windows in our coach. Ours are Hehr brand.
  • If you have Atwood windows, you can call Sue Phillips at Atwood Window and order direct. 574-264-2131.
Last window I ordered was about $250.00 delivered.
Once you have the whole window assemble out, the frame comes apart for easy glass replacement.

  • Sun Coast designers can put new glass in any RV window and they have full hook-ups so you can stay while the make repairs. I bet it will be 1/2 of that price for a new window

  • I used a glass supplier in my town to make custom glass windows for numerous construction projects. Most glass shops can cut the glass to size, have it tempered, and give it to you for an inexpensive price. Then you should be able to find an RV tech to install it, or you can install it yourself.
