Go in a big parking lot and practice, and then practice some more. Set up some cones, or plastic trash cans, and practice turning around them and going between them. Duplicate a gas pump scenario and practice pulling up to, and driving away from the pumps.
Watch your TAIL SWING. If you turn too close to an object, the tail of your coach can/will swing out in to that object. Not good.
Practice using your mirrors and rear view camera.
Have someone set up the cones at various distances apart so you can practice driving slowly between them. Practice until you are confident when you can and cannot fit between the cones. You need to be confident that your coach will fit between any two objects BEFORE you try.
Measure the coach and make note of the height. Pay attention to the signs that give the height clearance and pay attention to any tree limbs that may be hanging lower over the roadway.
As everyone has mentioned, it soon becomes second nature but it does take practice and that can only be obtained by getting out and driving. Remember, pay attention to everything that is going on around you, behind you, and way out in front of you. Have fun and drive safe.
