Good Day.
Just wondering if anyone here drives their class c on the beach?
Guess it would depend on WHERE.
I'd drive it on the beaches of a lake up North where the sand is construction grade!
Beaches down in Florida? NO.
I dang near buried my MH just driving across a grass field at a sporting event in Florida that in the middle where you could not see was "sugar sand" underneath the sparse grass.
The Class A behind me was not so lucky to get over it. Sunk and had to have a semi rig tow truck drag it out $$$$$$ - DakzukiExplorerI have seen it done but I wouldn't with mine. I have a 4x4 toad that works just fine for off pavement excursions.
- OasisbobExplorerSeveral video's on YouTube regarding RV & beach fails. Personally I would'nt risk it
- darsbenExplorer III drive my class "A" onto the beaches near Galveston, TX never a problem "KNOCK WOOD"

The pictures are great, I may skip taking the toad with me and bring the backhoe. $$$$$ - ksg5000ExplorerLots of rigs get stuck at Pismo Beach - worth a Google.
- Dakota98ExplorerYes, you can.
Just be sure to call a towing company first & make arrangements in advance. Also, make sure you have at least a case of beer & call for pizza delivery. And most important, you may need some flotation devices.
