Driving in below freezing weather

We have a 2006 40' Itaska motor home. We want to travel to Texas,
but with the weather this year, we could be traveling in lots of
freezing weather. IF we run our gas furnace, will it keep the
water, sewer *& etc from freezing. We want to leave soon so would appreciate your answers. Thanks The Tollies.
  • When we are parked in near/below freezing conditions I place a 100W light bulb in the water compartment.

To automate the switching on/off I use a thermocube - select the on at 35F off at 45F.

This has worked well for many ski trips.
