You can fix the power problem real easy
Sonny's has next generation hemi or semi hemi GM pattern 905 cubic inch engine, with four two barrel throttle bodies or more naturally aspirated 1850 hp.
One other medium or modest boost motors are 2800 hp.
The ready to run on 89 octane 1850 hp street motors is 89,900.00.

Man, you guys are always passing me, 26' A moho p30 98 454 vortec with a 3100lb toad. New, now 128k on this coach. 47 to 48 mph unless going down hill or get one heck of a tail wind.....(0:

Normally get about 10 to 11mpg (never better) which drops to 9mpg when I get into 6 to 8% grades.

Much faster and wife and I feel beat up and tired at the end of the day.

I drive from 55 to 63 or so depending on the limits and state.

Also you guys that are going faster than 75 should take a look at your tire and read the small print that says " maximum safe speed 75 miles per hour"

I try to stay between 60 & 65, best mileage, not bad noise. Biggest issue is other traffic, right lane too much variance, center not too bad, but wind dropping over to right and then getting stuck behind a real slowpoke. I've gone faster, but as I get older and I start to travel more on my own, I find I can more easily keep to my own schedule and slower is not an issue.

65 on Interstates and 55 to 58 on two lane roads. 65 is the sweet spot for my Cummins.

My sweet spot pulling a Chevy HHR is 64 mph.

Almost all GPS units have exclusions to avoid toll roads, primary roads, etc. Most also allow you to customize each route. it is a good idea to have a good road atlas to give you a visual of the route you want to take and them make sure your GPS is set to follow it.

I read someplace here on the forum someone talking about the new 6 speed tranny from Ford and finding the sweet spot. If I remember it right, they said once its in 6th gear (60'ish) you should find the sweet spot a couple miles and hour after that and the place to set your cruse. Does that sound about right for the best MPG?

You must have a 5 speed trans.... both of our coaches have/had a 6 speed Allison that run about 1,500 rpm's at 60 mph.

Both coaches would shift into sixth at 55 mph. On the current coach, once I shift into sixth at 55 mph, it will stay there until 50 mph then downshift to fifth.
