You must have a 5 speed trans.... both of our coaches have/had a 6 speed Allison that run about 1,500 rpm's at 60 mph.
Both coaches would shift into sixth at 55 mph. On the current coach, once I shift into sixth at 55 mph, it will stay there until 50 mph then downshift to fifth.

(Disclaimer)... I will be in the coach next week and will double check my RPM's at 55-60 mph. Sometimes going by memory has gotten me in trouble. LOL!
