i can hear my wife now...####..even with laying down the seat...climbing into the rear cargo area to get something.. =-O

There's a couple of different styles on duel receivers that should work for what you want. The Roadmaster is pretty shout and would make a good boat anchor. Other's I've seen are a bit lighter on the second receiver and are intended to bike racks or other none towing applications. The other end of the tow bar is connected to a 98 Honda Accord which sits a bit lower than the coach hitch. If I ever decide to use my CRV as a dingy I'll probably dispense with the dual receiver and hang the bikes off the back of it.
thanks for info we plan to set cargo rack in top one for items used little like dump tank receiver on mh is high off the ground what i need to check now is tow bar mine lifts straight up and locks in position and then you drop to one side when not in use may just have to remove it when we are set up
