- Dutch_12078Explorer IICrossfires have check valves to prevent rapid deflation in one tire from deflating the other tire, however, a slow leak can deflate both tires over time. Best bet is to use a TPMS with a Crossfire installation to minimize that risk. Of course a TPMS is a good recommendation anyway, with or without the Crossfire setup.
- rgatijnet1Explorer IIIThey work pretty good to keep the tires balanced. If you have a blowout on one tire, the other tires DOES NOT go flat, or even lose any air at all.
- donn0128Explorer IINope! See it as a disadvantage. What happens if one tire goes flat? Thats right, you now have two flat tires and stuck on the side of the road instead of limping to a tire shop.
