Dual wheel valve extenders

When I had a Pressure Pro TPMS the batteries in the transmitters was supposed to last 4-5 years (which they did). Then you had to turn the transmitters into Pressure Pro and they would send replacements at a reduced cost. Now I have a TPMS with removable batteries, and these last about 1 year. The nice thing is that these, however, I can change out myself.

I use the TST tpms. They have been constantly on for a year, and batteries are still good. The batteries can be found locally, and I can replace them myself.

That's another reason, I wanted easy access to the valve stems, when it is necessary to replace the batteries.

Lazy is as Lazy goes.

Just curious, how often did you have to change the batteries. They supposedly will last 3-5 yrs before needing to be replaced. If you had to change sooner, did you contact the TPMS seller for his input?

I bought the solid valve stems as well four years ago to use with my TPMS system. No problem with the valve stems but I finally gave up on the TPMS because I didn't like changing out the batteries.

Just got mine in the mail yesterday.

Going to have the extenders installed this week.

Easier to remove/install the tpms sensors.

No one will touch my tires but me, except when new ones are needed.:B

That is what I used. They make it very easy to add air and check the pressure.
They come with rubber stabilizers that fit in the hand hole. I have PressurePro pressure sensors on mine and the stabilizers do a good job of keeping the sensors/stems from moving.

+2 on these, been running a set for years. Borg makes a good dually valve stem which eliminates the problems of slow leaks and the extenders coming loose. You will need to unmount the tire to replace the original stems with these but its well worth it IMHO..

I don't have a specific brand suggestion. I got mine from a truck stop. I just know that I have never had any problem with the solid extenders, and I've been using them for well over 10 years.
