..Another update: In order to insure we'll NEVER have a tire valve stem issue like this again, I ordered a set of Dually Valves, like noted in the last post. They got here 'bout a week or two ago, I'm just now getting around to getting them installed.
Yesterday, went by and talked to both the local Ford dealer, as well as Discount Tire. NEITHER of them want this installation - they don't have the equipment to handle tires of this size. Argh.
This morning, went by another tire place here that handles bigger rigs, Clark Tire. Guys I talked to there had not seen dually valves, but really liked the idea. Thought it was a really cool, smart way to handle dual tires. Said they'd be happy to install them for me. Sooo, probably one day next week I'll bring the MH by and let them put these on. No more worries about valve leaks, and checking, maintaining tire pressure will be much easier now. :)
