Another satisfied customer here....discount tire mounted them for $30 (rear.4 tires) so damn pleased gave the 2 installers $20 tip......now no worries about extension leaks and can now check the outer tire easily. ....
Rate this upgrade up there with my solar panels. .....
Discount tire? I went to them first, would have liked to have had them do the installation.
They wanted NOTHING to do with it. Said they did not have the space, nor equipment necessary to handle rigs, tires this big.
Only place I found around here that would do it, was Clark Tire, a shop that regularly services 18 wheeler rigs and tires for such. They did the install for a very reasonable fee, great folks over there. Will probably give them all my tire related business for the MH.
Got to say again, how happy I am with the dually valves. It is soooo nice to be able to easily check, air up ALL the rear tires, innner and outer, without even having to remove the wheel covers. And, never have to worry about valve extensions coming loose or leaking. Since its so easy now, I've been checking the tire pressures quite often, none have lost any air at all.
Now, I just gotta find a way to be able to do the same with the front tires. The angle of the valve stems on front tires forces me to have to remove the wheel cover in order to check them. Not a big deal at all, and not worth replacing the valve stems for. Think I can just ream the hole in the wheel cover a little bit, will give me enough room to get my air gauge on it.
