Braided extensions are wonderful. 14 years, 126000 miles and 4 sets of tires and never a problem. However, I am the only one that installs them when the tires are being changed. I make sure that they do not rub on the wheel holes , that they are tight and that they are securely fasetned to the the outer wheel / wheel liner.
