Dumb question
Hello all,
This is my first post, so let me start off by saying you all have a great site here. I have looked up many question, and found many answers on here for quite some time. My name is Jason, I am in Colorado Springs. I have been around boats and rv's my entire life. I had a pop-up, moved to a 30' 5th wheel, and about 6 months ago moved to a 37' Newmar Kountry Koach class A. I have run into some small problems with it, but have been able to handle them all myself.
Now the stupid question, google couldnt help me out too much. I had a blowout on my motorhome on the way back from California (another story, I am getting 7 new tires this week), when my tire blew, my driver front, it took the pad off of my hydraulic level on that side and also took a spring out. The spring I am talking about goes from the spindle? about 8 inches in from the tire to a piece of metal, one small coil spring in front of the axle, 1 in back. What in the world are these little springs for? Helper spring? How important are they?
