I have been a member of this great site for awhile now but for the life of me I can't figure out what DH and DW mean. I have some ideas but am not sure. Can someone explain?
Boy, am I out of the loop. It never occurred to me that the D might be a bad word -- I just always assumed it stood for Darling. It took me a while to figure out BIL, MIL, SIL, and DIL, too.
Ok so some of my ideas are correct. I thought the D might have meant one specific thing. A misinterpretation by DW could result in a rolling pin on the noggin. Thanks John
Well, I always thought it was Dear Husband / Dear Wife. But I suppose you can substitute the "D" for any number of "choice" words, depending upon how you feel today. Only YOU will know what that "D" REALLY stands for!
And you know you've been on the forum too long when you email your family and you type in that you are taking the MH out on a trip and they don't a clue what you are taking about. :R
