Dumping Airbags

Mine(PG) require the key on like some others. I have a clothes pin that I use as a headlight on reminder while driving and upon arrival I turn off the lights and move the clip to the dump switch while I walk around and place jack pads. Then move the clip to the parking brake (just in case one of the mutts step on it while setting up and somehow/someway a miracle happens and they release the brake)

I'm always learning things here. There's a couple of things in your post I'm wondering about. You state you have three air "tans" (I'm assuming you mean air "TANKS") that are tied together. And, you say your "Air Brake takes pressure off the system"??? Not exactly sure what you're meaning by that. The reason I ask is, ALL air brake equipped chassis, with normal brake cans, do not use AIR pressure for the parking brakes.

When you push the button to set the parking brakes, you're actually "releasing" air from one side of the rear brake cans so the seriously strong spring can apply the brakes. That is a legal requirement. Air pressure legally is not allowed to be used for parking brakes. So, there should be no depletion of any amount, in your air tanks due to setting the parking brake system.

And, just wondering, you mentioned that if you level prior to dumping on un level sites, that you can level easier. Again, I'm not sure what you're meaning on that one. What I mean is, if you pull onto an un level site, isn't your coach is sitting parallel with the ground (no matter how un level it is) because of your ride height sensors are keeping the coach level. You're just higher because your bags are still full.

Now, trying to level from a fully raised position sure seems to me that you'd tax the high side levelers right off the bat and you'd be no where near level. But, if you dropped the bags, your coach is still parallel with the ground, only a lot lower and, your jacks might not be taxed too bad because they don't have to travel as far to achieve level. Again, just learning things here.

One more thing, may I ask, what model number of HWH system you have?

2007 HR Endeavor with Power Gear levelers.

The levelers are not electrically connected to the air dump.

Turn the ignition switch on and push the switch, no matter the status of the levelers.

I just went down and fired up the engine. With the air pressure the distance to the step is 12 2/2". Stopped the engine, in acc. levelers on, dumped to 9 1/2".
Life is good.

Thanks to all the suggestions on this site I started my trouble shooting adventure this morning. I did not get far. Key in acc. position, leveling system activated,,,,,,push button, bingo coach drops 2 inches.
