2 things cause this
1. As you mentioned the drain pan drain holes clogged
2. Another more common cause on older AC units is the AC Gasket has slowly collapsed over the years and the drain holes are touching the roof membrane and cannot drain. Especially true if you have RVP/Coleman AC units which is what Newmar used in 1994.
So, you replace the AC Gasket and clean out the drain pan. Doug
