I thought of this thread today when a late-model high-top Nissan van went thru on the cross street where I was waiting on the light. I'm not sure of the interior height, but that high top looks mighty appealing for a camper van conversion. I doubt it's got the carrying capacity for a full-house B with reefer, furnace, generator, roof a/c, full plumbing, etc, but it looks to be a dandy base for starting a DIY camper van. But it's been over 3 decades since I drove any Nissan, back in the Datsun days. Dunno what their level of quality is now.
