Sorry but that is not even close to being true. Would you care to share a source that documents the E-450 being 6" wider than the E-350? Two (identical - same year chassis), Class C's, one an E-350 and the other an E-450 will have the same overall /interior width every time. Also both will also have the same towing capacity of 5,000#. The E-450 will have the greater payload but will be heavier negating some, if not most of the difference.
When you compare the specs the E-350 and E-450 are far more alike than different.
The biggest differences are the 4:56 rear end in the 450 vs the 4:10 in the 350 which translates to seriously better mileage for the E-350. The E-450 also comes with a stiffer ride but more payload. I am not criticizing the E-450, it is a great truck but on a coach 25' or less it is often {but not always Phil}, overkill.
