My 2008 manual says 30,000 miles in RV Service. The higher mileage numbers are for vans and pickups. There is no time change specified. My 08 has 17k miles and I won't be changing it until 30k. At that time I'll put synthetic in. Synthetic in the tranny is the only thing I ever did that improved mileage - not much, but measurable.
The manual says there is a long life coolant, good for 100k miles in vans and pickups. In RV use that is reduced to 60k. No time specified. In my 2000 V-10 coolant flush and change was every 2 years. Must be a different chemical make-up of the current fluid. The stated reason for the 2 year change on the 2000 was due to different metals: aluminum heads and steel engine block.
I just signed up for the FMCA Rally at Madison, WI at the end of July. Hope to find a Ford engineer in one of the booths and pin down some numbers.
