Please note that the same tire size has a lower load rating in a dual (rear) application than it does in a single (front) application. Start with tire basics:
1. Does the E450 have the tires specified in the door jamb label, including Load Range E?
2. Look at that Label. Note that the Rears, at 80PSI, add up to the rated capacity of the rear axle. Airing up to 80 in the rear assumes the rear axle will be fully loaded. Most of us don't need all 80 once we weigh the coach and adjust pressure according to a Load/Pressure Chart.
3. On that Label. Note that the capacity of the Front Axle equates to a max pressure of only 65 in Front.
4. More pressure usually worsens the ride, although I doubt you'll feel much difference in the rear.
5. But in the Front, more pressure doesn't just worsen the ride. It also reduces the tread's contact patch with the road, and that makes it easier for the coach to wander.
Our Jayco is 31-ft but lighter than yours with no slides and gets by very well with 60-front and 70-rear. When you decide on a pressure, be sure the pressure of all tires on the same axle are the same.
