E450 Oil Filter

Ford recommends the FL-820S on the V-10 to help keep oil in the engine when not running. The filter has a silicone valve built in to do this.
Do you not have clearance to put this filter on? Seems like it should fit since its OEM but you may have something different causing it to not spin up?

Silicone anti-drain back valves help prevent oil from draining out of the filter and engine when the engine is not running and resist the aging effects that an engine’s high heat can cause.
