By law, the RV park cannot charge more than the electric company. I believe Southern California Edison is still serving Riverside County. IIRC their Tier One rate was 16 cents/kwh. Tier Two goes up to 25 cents/kwh. "Normal" usage should run you a tad over $100/month....Dennis

My understanding is that the tier rates are changing as of July 1st. The highest rate will go to .29/kwh.
The reason I know this is I'm having solar put our my residence there and everyone is trying to beat the deadline. Once our solar is installed (May), we will be grandfathered in at .16/kwh for 20 yrs.
If my solar system generates more than I need, Edison will buy it back at .02/kwh. HIGHWAY ROBBERY! That's why the solar company tries to perfectly match the solar power to our usage.
I didn't know as Dennis mentioned above that the RV park cannont charge more, it's seems I've heard of people really complaining about RV parks gouging.
Indio in the summer is extremely hot. It could be up to 120 during the day and 90's at night. It's gets a little cooler in August but that's when the humidity comes making it feel worse.
Enjoy your stay.
