Gem.... you are talking about extreme temps.... that's not the normal.
A swamp cooler would work quite well in those temps. The rule of thumb is that the temp and humidity added together should be below 130 degrees, otherwise, the swamp cooler should work well.
If we are in the desert in the summer storing our coach in the storage garage, I thought about getting a portable air conditioner. We have a 30 amp plug but our coach would need more than one air running. We also have a 15 amp plug which the portable air will plug into.
