Electric brake connector for a Freightliner chassis

I am trying to install an electric brake controller in a 2013 DP on the Freightliner chassis. I have been told that it has a plug in on the steering column. I have spotted a round connector about 1....

Because this thing is in such an awkward place to get to I called my Freightliner dealer about getting their pig tail. They quoted me $141 and a full week delivery! I about fell out of my chair when they told me that! I can get a Ford, Ram or GM connector today for $14.95 from any parts house in town. I guess I will be cutting off their connector and just splicing the wires. I wish that they had used something more available.
