Electric brake connector for a Freightliner chassis

I am trying to install an electric brake controller in a 2013 DP on the Freightliner chassis. I have been told that it has a plug in on the steering column. I have spotted a round connector about 1....

Not to hijack a thread but do you know how far back freightliner included this? Like maybe on a 1999 freightliner chasis with a Discovery mounted to it:D
