Because this thing is in such an awkward place to get to I called my Freightliner dealer about getting their pig tail. They quoted me $141 and a full week delivery! I about fell out of my chair when they told me that! I can get a Ford, Ram or GM connector today for $14.95 from any parts house in town. I guess I will be cutting off their connector and just splicing the wires. I wish that they had used something more available.
You know, no body said owning or operating these KLEENEX boxes on wheels would be cheap. Some of these items on these coaches are seriously high priced. That round, 9-hole plug you found earlier, I stated it's the front diagnostic port. Well, you should have a grey, plastic, knurled cap that attaches to that diagnostic port and, it has a little fiber retainer so you don't loose that cap. But, in the event you do loose it, Freightliner wants a whopping $20.00 for that little cap!!!! Yeow!!!
So, it's no surprise what they want for some of their electrical parts/harness's and more.
