Electric powered bed lift
Has anyone installed an electric bed lift in their coach? Our new mattress is much heavier than the sleep number mattress was. Lifting the bed has become a back breaker.

Re positioning the gas lifts farther from the hing should solve your problem. I have seen units that have adjustable brackets for this reason. Another contributing factor may be that if it's an older unit the gas lifts might be tired.
