Thank you all for your help, i had purchased just posting a pipe heating tape or cable in the instructions they say not use on soft potable water hose because the heat might melt the hose ans also risk of fire but i saw on the web a video where the guy wrap aluminum foil around the hose then he covers the hose with insulating foam it comes in 6' length then he feeds the heating tape inside between the insulating foam and the aluminum foil my question is, is it safe to do this for the potable water hose that runs from front to back and between the floors of the rv since this hose is the longest
