We have been driving an electric car for almost 9 years now and have gotten quite used to "filling up" for about 1/3 the price of a fossil fuel vehicle. Often overlooked is the fact every morning you leave the house with a "full tank". A different experience from something that uses gas. It got even better 3 years ago when we installed solar on the house and started charging for free. You also appreciate the practically non-existent maintenance on an electric vehicle.
