Electrical cable hatch

I am looking for a replacement electrical cable hatch that is heavy duty. So far I have bought three and they only last a short time until the plastic hinge breaks. This is on a Gulfstream Sunvoyager and is a 50 amp cord. I have looked trying to find one made of medal but so far nothing seems to be avaiable. Maybe some one has a better way to make this repair.

    You might look for a locking fuel cap door, (key lock) Will google, hold on.
    Auto Anything dot Com This does not have the "notch" for the cord but it could be installed OVER the plastic cap that breaks, Or you could modify it with a slot and still leave the plastic cover in the inside.

    In another thread I mentioned "I exited the box and there is was".. This is more like "Inside the box" I googled "Locking fuel door" (sans quotes) by the way, That was the top hit, some others likely less expensive.
