Electrical cable issues

Our cable (not sure of the name)that connects the lights etc. on the tod from the Moho is not working since we have no brake lights, turn signals and head lights on the tod.
I cleaned and tighten the wires on both ends of the cable and still no lights etc. Is there other things such as fuses or light blubs that I should be checking?

    First of all, check your MH's fuses.
    Then check for voltage on the receptacle on your MH to insure that each pin is hot when it should be.
    Then test the connections on the toad to insure that the proper lamp is lit at the proper time.

    You should not have head lights on the toad from the MH.
    Do you have a test light or volt meter?
    Check the MH for power to the receptacle.
    Do you have amber turn signals on the MH? How many pins are in your receptacle? If four pins and you have amber turn signals, there should be a three to two converter somewhere in the MH. It could be bad.
    With no lights, you should be checking ground connection from the MH to the toad.
    I call the cable an "Umbilical cord"
