If you have the OEM Battery Keeper model 12612A as was installed in my 2009 Tiffin from the factory (I later removed it and installed an Amp-L-Start), it is not directly connected to the house batteries. It needs 120 volts which it can get from shore power, generator or inverter. You stated that you didn't have the inverter on, so the Battery Keeper would not draw down your house batteries.
Prior to putting the coach in storage had you been using the inverter?
If so did you check that the house batteries were fully charged before putting in storage?
